My Good Gut™ began with a simple question: Is it possible to support digestive health without giving up the joy of food?
After years of exploring digestion and inflammation, our founder realized he was not alone in searching for answers.
Like many people navigating gut-related concerns, he encountered a familiar message: manage the chronic symptoms, accept the lasting limitations, and assume that a bland, restrictive diet is simply the price of feeling better. That idea never fully sat right with him.
For many, access to specialized GI care can involve long wait times. And when appointments do happen, the focus (appropriately so) centers on ruling out serious conditions. Yet for those living with ongoing digestive imbalance, practical guidance around food and everyday choices can feel limited, inconsistent or scattered across many different sources.
This led our founder to begin exploring digestive health more deeply. Through research, experimentation in the kitchen, and closer attention to ingredients and preparation methods, he began discovering ways to adapt familiar foods while still supporting digestive comfort.
What became clear along the way is that digestive balance is rarely simple. The gut reflects years of diet, stress, medications, infections, and individual biology. Improving daily comfort often comes from small, consistent shifts rather than a single quick solution.
Those discoveries also revealed something else to our founder: many people are trying to piece together the same insights on their own.
